<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a can lid for duplex seaming which is capable of ensuring sufficient sealability even in a double-seamed can using a thin-walled can lid. <P>SOLUTION: When seamed, a curl part 15 of a can lid 10 for double seaming is formed to have a cover hook radius part 55 and a cover hook part 56 corresponding to a cover hook radius 45 and a cover hook 46, respectively. The cover hook part 56 is constituted of a straight part 56a in a range of 0.2 mm from its front end, a first curved part 56b located on the front end side except the straight part 56a, and a second curved part 56c located between the first curved part 56b and the cover hook radius part 55. The radius of curvature R2 of the second curved part 56c is formed to be not less than 0.6 mm and not more than 1.1 mm. The radius of curvature R1 of the first curved part 56b is equal to or larger than that of the second curved part 56c, and is not more than 1.4 mm.
