<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve discharge performance of an electromagnetic pump. <P>SOLUTION: A valve body 62 of a suction check valve in an electromagnetic pump is formed of a stepped structure comprising a cylindrical base 63a and a truncated conical protrusion 63b protruding from a seat surface of the base 63a. The base 63a is formed such that a spring is supported on the annular surface at the peripheral edge of the seat face, and the protrusion 63b is formed so as to protrude into a pump chamber. The spring distance can be adjusted by adjusting the height of the seat surface of the base 63a. The volume inside the pump chamber can be adjusted by adjusting the protrusion height or the diameter of the protrusion 63b. As a result, the biasing force of the spring and the volume of the pump chamber can be optimized with a simple configuration, thereby further improving the discharge performance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
