<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing which has further improved sealability in the bearing, and whose lip is free from being attracted onto a sliding object member. <P>SOLUTION: The rolling bearing includes: an outer ring 2, an inner shaft 3, raceway grooves 26 and 27, a first ball 5 and a second ball 6 disposed between raceway grooves 16 and 17; and a sealing device 8 that is disposed between the raceway grooves 26, 27 and the raceway grooves 16, 17 while sealing the raceway grooves 26, 27 and raceway grooves 16, 17. The sealing device 8 has an elastic member 41 consisting of: a base part 50 to be fittingly mounted for engagement with the peripheral surface of the end part in the axial direction of the outer circumference of the raceway surface side of the outer ring 2; and annular lips 51, 52 that extend approximately in the direction of the diameter from the base part, while sliding on the circumferential surface of the end part in the axial direction of the outer circumference of the raceway surface side of the inner shaft 3. The inner shaft 3 has protrusions 70, 71 that project out to the sealing side of the sealing device at positions whereat the lips come in contact, while the protrusions have at least one communicating hole 72 that communicates the sealing side and the outer part side on the opposite side of the sealing side, when the lips come in contact with the protrusions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
