<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electroluminescent lamp having a high CRI. <P>SOLUTION: An electroluminescent lamp having a high color rendering index (CRI) can be manufactured by using a phosphor blend composed of a mixture of an electroluminescence phosphor and a europium activated alkaline earth metal silicon nitride phosphor, in which the electroluminescence phosphor is selected from a blue emission electroluminescence phosphor, a blue-green emission electroluminescence phosphor, or a combination of them. Preferably, the lamp shows the CRI at least about 75, more preferably, at least about 80. The preferable blend contains about 10 wt.% to about 20 wt.% of the europium activated alkaline earth metal silicon nitride phosphor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
