<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor and control method therefor capable of suitably keeping a power saving mode even when the resource of a control part to be operated in the power saving mode is smaller than the resource of a control part to be operated in a normal power mode, and also attaining security communication in the power saving mode. <P>SOLUTION: An image processor has a first power mode and a second power mode whose power consumption is smaller than that of the first power mode, includes: a first control part for controlling a whole device; and a second control part to which power is supplied in the first power mode and the second power mode, and then, performs security communication with an external device. The first control part selects security association information to be reported to the second control part among multiple kinds of security association information stored in a storage part for storing the multiple kinds of security association information associated with the security communication when the first power mode is shifted to the second power mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
