The system (102) has a heating device (110) i.e. electric heating device, for reheating cryogenic propellant in a liquid phase (103) to a gas phase (104). A supplying circuit (109) supplies the propellant in the liquid phase to the heating device and performs reinjection of the propellant in a cryogenic propellant container (101) after passing the propellant in the gas phase in the heating device. The supplying circuit comprises a forced circulation device (112). A fuel cell (114) supplies electric power to the heating device. An independent claim is also included for a method for repressurizing a container containing a liquid phase and a gas phase of cryogenic propellant.
