PURPOSE: A clamping pressure control method of a machine tool is provided to simply and rapidly control clamping pressure by automatically determining the position of a stroke control member using the rotation of a spindle motor of a machine tool. CONSTITUTION: A clamping pressure control method of a machine tool is as follows: A position-variable adjusting member is fixed to control a stroke of a slider. A spindle is powered to move the adjusting member in a direction in which clamping pressure is changed, and the adjusting member reaches a stroke reference position corresponding to a preset clamping pressure. The adjusting member is moved to a stroke setting position. The fixation of the adjusting member is released.
