PURPOSE: A colored curable resin composition is provided to form a color filter with sufficient mechanical strength and superior brightness. CONSTITUTION: A colored curable resin composition includes a coloring agent, a binder resin, a polymerizable compound, and a polymerization initiator. The coloring agent includes xanthene dye and metallic complex salt dye. The metallic complex salt dye is at least one selected from chemical formulas 3, 4, and 6 and has extreme absorption wavelengths in a range between 490 and 580nm. The content ratio of the xanthene dye and the metal complex salt dye is in a range between 1:99 and 99:1. The polymerization initiator includes an oxime compound. The color filter is formed by the colored curable resin composition.
