[Problem] To provide an introducer sheath having a high centering performance whereby ease of introduction of a long body at a suitable location is possible, and an introducer sheath whereby appropriately maintaining blood flow stoppage and ability to insert through with respect to a valve body is possible. [Solution] An introducer sheath (10) comprises: a tubular member (20), further comprising a hollow part (21) wherethrough it is possible to pass a long body (100); a hub (30), provided on the base end of the tubular member (20), further comprising an interior space (33) which connects with the hollow part (21) of the tubular member (20); a valve body (40) which is positioned in the interior space (33) of the hub (30); and a ring-shaped member (50) which makes contact with the valve body (40), anchors the valve body (40) in the interior space (33), and further comprises a through hole (51) wherethrough it is possible to pass the long body (100). |
