<p>Disclosed is a roller comprising a wheel body of a rigid material, wherein the surface of the wheel body that is used for rolling is a wheel face, at least one groove is provided on the wheel face, a flexible material is embedded in the groove, and the protruding height of the flexible material in the groove before deformation under stress exceeds the height of the wheel face. Machining a groove in the wheel face of a rigid material, embedding a flexible material in the groove, and the fact that the flexible material will sink into the groove under stress enable the present utility model to avoid excessive wear, improving the durability; given that the groove is open only at the wheel face, stress generated by deformation of the flexible material is entirely directed towards a contact surface, meaning that the flexible material can press onto the contact surface, increasing the friction force of the wheel face; moreover, with the sinking of the flexible material into the groove, the load bearing of the roller primarily relies on the rigid material wheel face, thus the load-bearing performance is good.</p> |
