<p>Provided is a structure for effectively reducing the wind resistance of a ship having wing sections and support sections. A structure for reducing the wind resistance of a ship (100) having wing sections (2) which protrude from the living section (3) in the direction of the width of the ship, and also having column-shaped support sections (1) which support the wing sections (2) from below. Members (10) added to the support sections, the members (10) being long, box-shaped bodies, are provided to the support sections (1) at positions on the front face side thereof so as to extend in the vertical direction, and as a result, wind resistance to which the support sections (1) are subjected during navigation is reduced. The members (10) added to the support sections are the long, box-shaped bodies having a smaller width than the support sections (1) and are mounted so that there are differences in height at the front face-side left and right edges of the support sections (1).</p> |
