<p>A method used for purifying and silencing an exhaust of an internal combustion engine, comprising the following steps: 1) allowing the exhaust discharged by the internal combustion engine to enter the interior of a housing (6) via an exhaust inlet (7) of the housing (6), in which formed from the exhaust inlet (7) to the interior of the housing (6) is an abrupt expansion in cross-section; 2) allowing SO2 absorbent rinsing water to enter via a rinsing water inlet (11) of the housing (6), and allowing the exhaust in the interior of the housing (6) and the rinsing water to come into contact, then discharging the rinsing water via a rinsing water outlet (12) of the housing (6); and 3) allowing the exhaust to be discharged via an exhaust outlet (10) of the housing (6). The method simultaneously allows for effects of SO2 purification, silencing, and energy conservation and eliminates sparks in the exhaust. Also provided are an apparatus and system used for purifying and silencing the exhaust of the internal combustion engine.</p> |
