PURPOSE: A square can manufacturing method and device are provided to prevent deformation or crack of a welded portion of a circular preform by air-cooling and completely hardening the welded portion with a cooling device. CONSTITUTION: A square can manufacturing method is as follows. A metal plate(P) is rolled and welded to form a circular body(C). A coating solution is spread on a welded portion of the circular body. The coating solution spread on the welded portion is dried through a heater. The welded portion is cooled with wind. The circular body is shaped into a square form. |
