A method for assessing the autonomic nervous system in high-energy injuries of the musculoskeletal system comprises the registration of heart rate with subsequent processing of results. As physiological test the compression-ischemic test is performed of creating compression in the lower third of the arm by air pumping into the tonometer cuff to 200 Hg.mm for one minute. Then the control of pulse measurement is performed and data are processed.
