The invention relates to welding technique and can be used for welding studs with a diameter up to in industry and construction. In order to improve the device for stud welding by short arc discharge of capacitors consisting of a portable power unit, which has a charging unit of a capacitor bank in series connected to the capacitor bank of supercapacitors, and a unit of control of a charging voltage connected to the charging unit of capacitors and the capacitor bank, a control unit of discharge in series connected from one side to the capacitor bank, and from the other - to a welding tool, the power unit is supplemented with a unit block of calculating the energy of welding, a welding current sensor in series connected to the control unit of discharge and welding tool, and an auxiliary power supply, whose input is connected to the power supply of power unit, and the output – through a diode to the welding tool. The unit of calculation of welding energy by outputs is connected to the output of the welding current sensor and welding tool, and by its output - to the control unit. |
