<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing control system and a sheet processing control program that improve convenience to a user, and a control method for sheet processing device. <P>SOLUTION: In the sheet processing control system including the sheet processing device which processes sheets and an information processing device which controls the operation of the sheet processing device while the sheet processing device is connected, the sheet processing device includes sheet detection means for detecting whether a sheet is present, and transmission means for transmitting a detection result of the sheet detection means and control information based upon the detection result to the information processing device.
