<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner collection device capable of reducing the toner amount to be collected to a collection section after the toner amount collected in the collection section reaches a threshold value. <P>SOLUTION: Image forming engines 16Y, 16M, 16C and 16K form an adjustment image used for adjusting an image forming apparatus on a photoreceptor drum or an intermediate transfer belt 17 using toner. The collection container 37 stores the toner removed from the photoreceptor drum or the intermediate transfer belt 17. After the toner amount collected in the collection container 37 reaches a threshold value, the controller controls the formation of the adjustment image so that the toner amount removed from the photoreceptor drum or the intermediate transfer belt 17 and collected in the collection container 37 is more reduced than the toner amount before the toner amount collected in the collection container 37 reaches to the threshold value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
