<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication terminal capable of performing wireless communications with high reliability and reducing power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: An OES terminal 33 comprises a detection section 141, a base station selection section 144, and a communication control section 145. The detection section 141 detects a level in which the OES terminal 33 is positioned. The base station selection section 144 selects a base station 31 corresponding to a level detected by the detection section 141 from a plurality of base stations 31.
