PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source unit that prevents an increase in size of the device to enable efficient cooling, an optical scanner, and an image forming device.

SOLUTION: The light source unit 3 includes a light source, such as a surface-emitting light source, and a drive circuit for supplying a drive signal to the light source. The light source unit includes: a heat receiving part 112 disposed in thermally contact with a circuit board 305 where the temperature of the light source unit increases; heat dissipation means such as a cooling part 115 that dissipates heat of the cooling liquid; a circulation pipe 113 for circulating the cooling liquid between the heat receiving part 112 and the heat dissipation means; and a liquid cooling device having conveyance means such as a pump 114 for conveying the cooling liquid in the circulation pipe.
