摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine cooling apparatus capable of maintaining the temperature of each part of an engine within a specified range by flexibly changing engine cooling capacity according to the temperature of each part of the engine in a situation where the speed and load of the engine change every moment. <P>SOLUTION: The engine cooling apparatus includes sensors 61, 63, 64, 66 for directly detecting the cylinder head temperature, EGR cooler outlet gas temperature, intake port wall surface temperature and cylinder liner wall surface temperature of the engine or an ECU 18 for indirectly estimating them; a cooling water pump 13 and a cooling fan 17 capable of changing engine cooling capacity; and the ECU 18 controlling to enhance the engine cooling capacity of the cooling water pump 13 and cooling fan 17 according to the case where the temperatures confirmed by the respective sensors 61, 63, 64, 66 or the ECU 18 are threshold values or more relative to the case where the temperatures are less than the threshold values. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
