PURPOSE: An emergency disconnection sequence(EDS) video sharing system and a method thereof are provided to provide a new access method sharing the evidence about the starting and/or processing of an EDS. CONSTITUTION: An emergency disconnection sequence video sharing system(500) includes a storage unit(520) and at least one part of a communication link(526). The storage unit is connected to a video capture device(516) or a video card and stores an EDS evidence. The communication link transmits the EDS evidence from a drilling platform(510) to a remote control computing device(524) during a video sharing session between a rig computing device(522) and a remote control computing device(524).
