APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING 3D GUI

PURPOSE: A 3D graphical user interface(GUI) control device and a method thereof are provided to supply a side image, a top side image, and a bottom side image corresponding to the movement of a user, thereby implementing active moving pictures. CONSTITUTION: A processing unit(201) sets up an initial location of a terminal and headphones(210). A receiving unit(202) receives data of a human interface device(HID) profile format including headphone location from the headphones. An extracting unit(203) extracts location information of the headphones from the data of the HID profile format. A control unit(204) controls a 3D GUI of the terminal based on the initial location and the location information of the headphones. The headphones include an acceleration sensor and a terrestrial magnetism sensor. The location information of the headphones includes an acceleration coordinate and a terrestrial magnetism coordinate of the headphones.
