PURPOSE: A vector similarity calculation method in an information search system is provided to rapidly perform a process searching one vector and a similar vector showing a user profile for each loop unit. CONSTITUTION: A loop unit of vector inner product calculation is set up by using a loop unit setting unit(S21). A component maximum value is set up by using an inner product calculation unit and an inner product value of a search vector and an object vector are calculated(S23). The inner product value of the search vector and the object vector is examined for each loop unit by using an inner product comparison unit(S25). It is determined whether or not the inner product value is a maximum value(S27).
