PURPOSE: An inter-channel time delay map correction system of a sound direction detecting sensor and a method thereof are provided to guarantee the detection performance for the sound direction detecting sensor despite the change of the target platform. CONSTITUTION: A correction system(10) includes a sound direction detecting sensor(12), a time delay calculation unit(14) and a storage unit(18). The sound direction detecting sensor is respectively installed on the left side and on the right side of a robot platform based on the front direction of the robot platform and is composed of more than one microphone. The storage unit stores a time delay map between each microphone channel of the sound direction detecting sensor. The time delay calculation unit calculates a time delay value between each microphone channel using an audio signal sensed at the sound direction detecting sensor.
