PURPOSE: A wireless power receiver and a controlling method thereof are provided to receive the charge power from the wireless power receiver, thereby select a charging point efficiently. CONSTITUTION: A power transmitting unit(211) provides the electricity demanding from a wireless power transmitter(200). The power transmitter supplies the electricity in the form of an AC wave type. A controlling unit(212) controls the overall operation of the wireless power transmitter. A communication unit(213) performs the communication with a wireless power receiver(250) in a certain method. The communication unit transmits a signal about information of the wireless power transmitter.
