PURPOSE: A center plug device using a taper chuck jaw is provided to permanently reuse, to facilitate to assemble, and to lower material costs. CONSTITUTION: A center plug device using a taper chuck jaw is composed to engage the center of a tailstock with a center hole in order to make a taper flange(11) push a taper chuck jaw(12a,12c). The taper chuck jaw housing(10) forms four holes at 90 degree intervals in the same location of the taper flange. A tab hole and a hole are inserted with four bolts(20) and are once more connected to nut. The taper chuck jaw housing and taper flange maintain an interval in between even on maximum advancing.
