PURPOSE: A control device for a carrier is provided to improve the performance of a multimode carrier system and remove residual vibration generated in the same. CONSTITUTION: A control device for a carrier comprises an operation control unit(200), a setting unit(300), a deceleration sensor unit(400), a stop sensor unit(500), a control unit(600), a digital analog converter(DAC)(700), and an inverter unit(800). The operation control unit outputs a reference operation order signal to a control unit. The setting unit receives parameter values for controlling the inverter unit and parameter values for removing residual vibration generated by the carrier. The deceleration sensor unit and the stop sensor unit detect the approach of objects and output results accordingly. The control unit generates vibration removing order signals and digital control signals for removing residual vibration generated in the carrier. The digital analog converter outputs analog driving signals by using the digital control signals output by the control unit. The inverter controls the driving of a motor.
