PURPOSE: A functional secondary bookshelf is provided to utilize empty space above a bookcase as a storing space of book and stably support the bookcase not to collapse. CONSTITUTION: A functional secondary bookshelf comprises a combined slide panel(150a) to slide in upper and lower direction among back panel or a pair of side panel; and an upper panel extended in horizontal direction in the upper end part of the side panel. The slide panel comprises a guide hole, and is installed to one of the back panel or side panel in a state of passing through the guide hole.
