PURPOSE: A CTBA(Coupled Torsion Beam Axle) with improved compliance properties has a simple structure which provids toe in the toe value of rear wheels while being structurally steered by a link structure. CONSTITUTION: A CTBA(1) with improved compliance properties comprises carriers(13), a center pipe(21), and steering rods(22). The carriers are mounted on both ends of a torsion beam(11) by trailing arms(12) and carrier brackets. The center pipe is arranged at the center of the torsion beam by penetrating the torsion beam in the length direction of a vehicle. One end of the steering rods is connected to the carriers, and the other end thereof is connected to the center pipe. The steering rods are connected to the carriers by a ball joint. One end of the steering rods is connected to the carriers at a higher position than the center pipe.
