<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning unit that is capable of controlling a movement of a yarn end of a spun yarn in the case where the spun yarn is cut and realizing smooth operations, and to provide a spinning machine including a plurality of such spinning units. <P>SOLUTION: The spinning unit includes: a draft machine and a spinning device for supplying a spun yarn; a winder for winding the spun yarn into a package; a yarn storage apparatus for storing the spun yarn between a yarn supplier and the winder. The yarn storage apparatus includes: a yarn storage roller 51 around which the spun yarn is wound; and a first regulation part 72 that is arranged so as to face a base end part 52a on a side where winding of a yarn storage part 52 around which the spun yarn is wound on the yarn storage roller 51 is started, and regulates a movement of a yarn end of the spun yarn that is swung around at the side of the base end part 52a, when the spun yarn is cut at the side of the yarn storage part 52, toward the side of a front end part 52b ahead of unwinding of the spun yarn from the side of the front end part 52b of the yarn storage part 52. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
