<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an emission life of an organic EL element by suppressing the occurrence of aggregation and crystallization of a solute in a coating liquid. <P>SOLUTION: Disclosed is a method for manufacturing an organic EL element EL, in which a specific coating liquid is applied onto a substrate 1 and is dried to form an organic light-emitting layer 3. The manufacturing method comprises the steps of: dissolving a solute which is to constitute the organic light-emitting layer 3, in a solvent to prepare the coating liquid in which a particle size distribution peak of the solute is 3 nm or less as measured by a dynamic light scattering method; and applying the coating liquid onto the substrate 1 while keeping the temperature of the substrate 1 and the temperature of the coating liquid at 30°C or higher and 80°C or lower. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
