<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phosphor device, illumination apparatus, and projector apparatus which have a structure fitted for emitting light from a light emitter and highly efficiently emit the light emitted from the light emitter. <P>SOLUTION: A phosphor device contains at least phosphor, is shaped like a pyramid, and includes first and second faces that cross a pyramid-like incline faces to face each other and have different areas. The first face, the area of which is smaller than that of the second face, and the incline faces have a reflection layer. The second face having the larger area has a reflection preventing film.
