<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device and a projector, with a simple configuration, having a low manufacturing cost, a small manufacturing error and high luminance. <P>SOLUTION: A light source device of a projector 10 has: excitation light sources 71 which are a plurality of light source elements for emitting light and laser light emitting elements; and a condenser lens 78 which condenses the light from the plurality of excitation light sources 71. The light from the plurality of excitation light sources 71 arranged in a planar state are condensed, via the condenser lens 78, on a phosphor layer 104 of a fluorescence wheel 101 which is an irradiated body. The condenser lens 78 has: a body lens section 78a having a large diameter and protruding toward a light emission side; and a plurality of collimator lens sections 78b, each having a small diameter, formed at a light incident side of the body lens section 78a corresponding to the plurality of excitation light sources 71 and protruding toward the incident side. Optic axes 78p of some collimator lens sections 78b, among the plurality of collimator lens sections 78b of the condenser lens 78, are shifted from optic axes 71a of the excitation light sources 71 which correspond to the collimator lens sections 78b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
