<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device which can make intervals of a plurality of light emission parts large, and can be applied to a projector of a system in which the light emitting device is arranged immediately under a light bulb. <P>SOLUTION: In a light emitting device 100, a waveguide of light to be obtained by an electrode includes: belt-like and linear first gain area 160 and second gain area 170; and a third gain area 190 which connects the first gain area 160 with the second gain area 170, and includes the belt-like arc shape. In the first gain area 160 and the second gain area 160, the ends opposite to the ends to be connected to the third gain area 190 are connected to the side face of a first layer, and light 20 to be emitted from the first gain area 160 on the side face of the first layer and light 22 to be emitted from the second gain area 170 on the side face of the first layer are emitted in the same direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
