<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attachment/detachment mechanism of a unit capable of reducing an operating force to be required in a removing direction when the unit is removed from an apparatus body, an attachment/detachment mechanism of a fixing unit, and an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: An attachment/detachment mechanism 110 of a fixing unit 100 includes: the fixing unit 100; a guide pin 122 provided in the fixing unit; a pressing member 86 for pressing the fixing unit 100 in the mounting direction by an energizing force of a tension spring 79; and a release lever 130 for moving the pressing member 86 in the direction of releasing the pressing state. When the fixing unit 100 is removed from a body part 12A, if the release lever 130 is operated in a different direction from the removal direction of the fixing unit 100, the pressing state by the pressing member 86 is released. In that state, when the fixing unit 100 is moved in the removal direction, the operating force of the release lever 130 is not operated in the removal direction, so that the operating force to be required in the removal direction is reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
