<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker box that secures enclosure capacity while keeping the depth small. <P>SOLUTION: A speaker device 1 includes a housing 11 in an octagonal pyramid trapezoid shape, and a speaker unit 12 provided to a front-side bottom surface (one bottom surface) of the housing 11. An opening part 19 and terminals 20 are provided on a back-side bottom surface (the other bottom surface) of the housing 11. The housing 11 is such that the area of the front-side bottom surface is wider than the area of the back-side bottom surface. A housing 11 in a pyramid trapezoid shape like this has larger enclosure capacity than a speaker box in a pyramid trapezoid shape which has the same depth, and has capacity close to that of a housing structure in a general pyramid trapezoid shape.
