The present invention relates to an infrared light collecting composition able to collect infrared light, the composition comprising from 70 to 80 wt.% of silicon oxide (SiO2), from 10 to 14 wt.% of aluminium oxide (Al2O3), from 3 to 5 wt.% of potassium oxide (K2O), from 2 to 4 wt.% of sodium oxide (Na2O), from 2 to 3 wt.% of iron oxide (Fe2O3), from 0.1 to 0.5 wt.% of titanium dioxide (TiO2), from 0.5 to 1 wt.% of calcium oxide (CaO), from 0.1 to 0.5 wt.% of magnesium oxide (MgO), from 0.1 to 0.5 wt.% of manganese oxide (MnO) and from 0.1 to 0.5 wt.% of phosphorus pentoxide (P2O5), and comprising from 0.01 to 10 wt.% of a mixture of barium (Ba), copper (Cu), lead (Pb), cobalt (Co), chromium (Cr), nickel (Ni), zinc (Zn), beryllium oxide (BeO), strontium (Sr) and manganese (Mn). |
