PURPOSE: A cutting device of a flat display panel and a cutting method thereof are provided to reduce installation expenses and operation expenses by using a roller instead of high temperature steam. CONSTITUTION: A first growth unit(130) is arranged in a first growth area(SA1). The first growth unit grows a primary crack which includes two or more first cracks, which are separated to an X-axis direction, and two or more second cracks which are separated to a Y-axis direction in a flat display panel(120). A second growth unit(140) is arranged in a second growth area(SA2). A clamp unit(150) is arranged in an output area(PA). The second growth unit includes a roller which controls pressure around the flat display panel.
