The container (1) has a plate-shaped insulating intermediate layer arranged between an outer housing and an inner housing of the container. An electrical and electronic component (2) supports a device carrier (3) that is arranged at an inner side of the container. Passages (4) are connected with an exterior part of the container and provided in a lid (8). Shock absorbers are selectively provided at the bottom part of the outer housing. The device carrier is equipped with a unit for thermal control in the form of cooling or heating coils.
