The high-voltage battery (1) has housing (2) for recording the energy storage cells, which is connected to the case retention device (4) for securing the high-voltage battery in a receptacle of the vehicle chassis. The housing is made of aluminum with preset ductility and the retention device is made of steel with preset ductility, so that ductility of aluminum is less than the ductility of steel. The retention device is connected to the housing by screwing. An independent claim is included for high-voltage battery arrangement.
