CONDUCTIVE DIAMOND ELECTRODE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the manufacturing cost of a conductive diamond electrode, and to improve the detection sensitivity of the conductive diamond electrode.

SOLUTION: A conductive diamond electrode 1 is manufactured by depositing BDD ink 6 containing conductive diamond powder and insulating binder on a carbon paste 5 (a collector). The conductive diamond powder is constituted by forming a diamond layer with boron being doped therein on a surface of diamond particles. The conductive diamond powder is mixed in the BDD ink 6 so that the volume ratio of the conductive diamond powder to the insulating binder may be ≥20% and ≤90%.
