<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen generation system that prevents the efficiency of generating hydrogen from reducing and can also recover heat efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The hydrogen generation system includes: a hydrogen generation device 100 that includes a fist electrode having a photocatalytic semiconductor, an electrolyte (a first electrolyte and a second electrolyte) containing water, and the like, and in which light is emitted to the photocatalytic semiconductor and thereby the water is decomposed to generate hydrogen; a mechanism that includes a first circulation path 201 leading out the first electrolyte outside the hydrogen generation device 100 and leading the first electrolyte again into the hydrogen generation device 100, and uses the first circulation path 201 to circulate the first electrolyte; a first heat exchanger 204 provided on the first circulation path 201; and a temperature measuring device 203 for measuring a temperature of the first electrolyte. When the temperature of the first electrolyte is equal to or higher than a predetermined temperature, heat exchange is provided between the first electrolyte of the first circulation path 201 and water of a first water flow line 205 in the heat exchanger 204, and the first electrolyte is cooled and water is heated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
