<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overtube installable in an endoscope apparatus in the middle of examination, and a balloon endoscope using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The overtube 10 installable in an endoscope apparatus in the middle of examination, includes: a cylindrical body 11; a balloon 13 which is provided in an outer surface of one end portion side of the cylindrical body 11; and a fluid flow path 15 which is provided so as to communicate to the balloon 13 from the other end portion side of the cylindrical body 11 along the internal surface side or the external surface side of the cylindrical body 11, wherein the cylindrical body 11 is configured that a wall forming the cylindrical body 11 can be opened and closed over one end portion side from the other end portion side by a fastener means 12, and the balloon 13 is formed so as to have a C-shaped cross section in the direction intersecting the central axis of the cylindrical body 11 except an area in which the fastener means 12 of the cylindrical body 11 is formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
