The present invention pertains to a wireless communication system and a communication control method, and has a wireless terminal, a plurality of base stations, and a host-side base station. When there is a CoMP transmission/receipt request, the host-side base station determines the base station that is to coordinate the CoMP transmission/receipt, opens a radio link for the base station connected to the wireless terminal, and performs the CoMP transmission/receipt by transmitting the same signal. When a signal is transmitted/received via the radio link between the host-side base station and the plurality of base stations, the plurality of base stations function as a relay device. |
