The present invention relates to an LED lighting apparatus driven by an AC power supply having a preset AC power supply frequency. The LED lighting apparatus includes: a power supply input terminal connected to the AC power supply; an LED group including one or more LED elements; and an LED driving circuit unit, connected to the LED group, applying a power supply provided through the power supply input terminal to the LED group, wherein the LED driving circuit unit modifies the waveform of the AC power supply to provide a driving current to the LED group, and increases the flicker frequency of the LED lighting apparatus by a constant multiple of the AC power supply frequency.
