The series circuits are provided with two battery cells (4) which are connected over a trunk line (5). A conductive connection portion (6) is provided between the trunk lines of the series circuits. An electrical backup portion (7) is provided in the conductive connection portion. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Rechargeable battery pack. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The electrical backup portion can be provided in simple and inexpensive structure so that the battery pack can be designed with simple and compact structure and the cost of the battery pack can be reduced significantly.
