PURPOSE: A tilting device for a steering column in a vehicle is provided to prevent noise generation due to the reaction force of a spring. CONSTITUTION: A tilting device for a steering column in a vehicle comprises a tilt body(10), a tilt shaft, a lever(30), an adjusting cam, and an elastic member. The tilt shaft is elevatably equipped in the tilt body. The lever is rotatably equipped in the tilt shaft. The adjusting cam is slidably equipped in the tilt shaft. The adjusting cam locks or unlocks the elevating movements of the tilt shaft according to the rotation of a lever. The elastic member is interposed between the tilt body and lever for elastically supporting.
