<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode catheter that facilitates the insertion to the pulmonary vein and the keeping of an electrode position and suppresses the generation of thrombi, thereby reducing patient's burden. <P>SOLUTION: The electrode catheter 1A includes a tube 10 that has flexibility, an assembly 20 that is formed by bundling a plurality of spines 20a whose proximal ends are connected with a distal end of the tube 10 and whose distal ends are connected together, electrodes 30 that are provided on surfaces of the spine 20a of the assembly 20, an assembly traction wire that passes through the center of the assembly 20 from the lumen of the tube 10 and has an end fixed to the distal end of the spine 20a, a tube traction wire that is provided in the lumen of the tube 10 and has an end connected to the distal end of the tube 10, and a control handle 40 that is provided at the proximal end of the tube 10 and is connected with the other end of the assembly traction wire and the other end of the tube traction wire. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
