An outdoor machine (2) for an air-conditioning device (1), comprising a heat exchanger (13) arranged on a bottom plate (30), inside a substantially cuboid casing (22) comprising a top plate (31), side plates (44, 54, 55), and the bottom plate (30). The heat exchanger (13) is mounted upon a plurality of bulging sections (60) formed on the bottom plate (30). First drain holes (63) that discharge drainage from the heat exchanger (13) to outside the machine are formed in the bulging sections (60). Second drain holes (65) smaller than the first drain holes (63) are formed in sections of the bottom plate (30) that: are below the heat exchanger (13); and are not bulging sections (60).
