STEERING SYSTEM AND STEERING METHOD OF ENGINEERING VEHICLE

A steering system (10) and a steering method of an engineering vehicle. The steering system (10) comprises a first steering shaft group, a second steering shaft group, a third steering shaft group, a rod system connection steering control system, a first electro-hydraulic steering control system and a second electro-hydraulic steering control system. The rod system connection steering control system controls the first steering shaft group to perform steering. The first electro-hydraulic steering control system receives turning-angle signals of appointed steering shafts in the first steering shaft group, so as to calculate targeted turning angles of steering shafts in the second steering shaft group, and controls the second steering shaft group to perform steering with reference to turning-angle signals of the steering shafts in the second steering shaft group. The second electro-hydraulic steering control system receives the turning-angle signals of the appointed steering shafts, so as to calculate targeted turning angles of steering shafts in the third steering shaft group, and controls the third steering shaft group to perform steering with reference to turning-angle signals of the steering shafts in the third steering shaft group. The steering system (10) can give play to the advantages of each steering control manner and avoid or weaken the disadvantages thereof, thereby being capable of improving steering performance of the whole engineering vehicle.
